Rebecca (Burris) Spires has literally been ‘in the ministry’ all of her life. The daughter of a Pentecostal Pastor, she began playing the piano for her father's church at the age of nine. During her teen years, she went on to win numerous local, state and national titles in vocal and instrumental (organ/piano) music, as well as in writing and public speaking.

Her passion for worship and her commitment to excellence has afforded her the opportunity to minister and record with some of the leading Gospel Artists and Worship Ministers in Christian Music, as well as to direct music in several of our nation’s greatest churches including World Harvest Church in Columbus, Ohio; Bethel World Outreach Center in Brentwood, Tennessee; and Faith Chapel Christian Center in Birmingham, Alabama.

After serving as a sounding board for many Lead Pastors who were frustrated about their “messy Music Departments”, Pastor Becky began consulting with Worship Arts Ministries helping them with their organizational structures, planning, administration, skills enhancements (musical and leadership), teaming and more. Having taught Organization and Administration of Church Music at the collegiate level, local churches, workshops and international conferences, she is able to provide a broad scope of knowledge in this area.

In addition to her high level of excellence, Pastor Becky is noted for the depth of her teaching of the Word of God, a keen spiritual sensitivity to the leading of the Holy Spirit, and a powerful anointing as she ministers.

Pastor Becky lives in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, with her daughter Stephanie - an aspiring actress & filmmaker, and her son Micah – a music-lover & freshman at the University of Alabama (Roll Tide!). She presently serves as the Pastor of Worship at the Northport Church of God with Lead Pastor Greg & Jenny Strickland.
